So we are now into week two of summer break. We are heading into "camping season" and I am still quite confused. I don't dare ask the hubby again because he just rolls his eyes but at the same time can't give me a definitive answer.
Its no secret I don't like the outdoors. Why, you ask? Umm...its dirty, bugs and the sun hurts my eyes. Yep, I just said that. So, we just got a new camper. My family loves camping...not this mom. I go and its okay but the whole time I sit in my chair and wonder what I could be doing at home!
So camping...purpose? Actual purpose? Our camper is amazing but I can do everything in our camper I can do at home. I can do everything in a hotel I can do at the camper and at home. The logic of camping confuses me. If it is to enjoy the great outdoors, I have a backyard. ...that is attached to my house! hahahaaa....I won't complain, I will go because Lord knows my family does things for me they don't necessarily enjoy; like cleaning, cooking and laundry! BUT....I don't see the logic. If it is to swim at the lake, I would rather swim in a pool so I can see what my feet our touching!
Ok, now for some random thoughts I was thinking about last night-
Pet Peeve: Why when people see my large family do they say, "Oh, Wow! are they all yours"?
I want to respond with: Umm Duh. Have you never seen a large family before? By the way, I can afford them, they are well behaved, and mind your business! Most of the time people are snotty about it and not like ooh how nice you have a large lovely family. If they were to be like that then I wouldn't get all bent out of shape.
Pet Peeve:
My husband making Terrick scream when they play! I do not love the sound of high pitched screams!
It got so bad the other night I told Terrick I was taking away his birthday! LOL! You know your a mom when you threaten to take away your child's birthday!
Psalm 127:3
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
